Digital Audio Video Editor Mixer system
The BCD Digital Audio Video Editor Mixer is intended to be used in edit suites, the unit de-embeds up to eight audio streams from SD or HD video , mixes the signals with additional audio sources from AES-3, Analogue or USB audio, and embeds back the result. The compact desk-mounting control panel uses P&G faders and top quality controls everywhere. All processing occurs in a 1U BCD DAVE rack, using BCD's FPGA technology.

FPGA based processing, with up to four AES-3 inputs and outputs, and space for two AES-3/ Analogue line level modules, or one Mic amplifier.
Black-burst or Tri-sync reference input, with loop-through BNC connector.
Locally generated Black-burst or Tri-sync outputs on BNC connectors.
Up to three IO modules, for Video and Audio connectivity.
Video IO module
BNC input for SD, HD or 3G video source.
BNC output with buffered loop through of the input.
De-embedding of up to eight audio signals.
Two buffered Video outputs, with streamed video and re-embedded audio.
USB audio module
USB audio in / out to Personal Computer.
Stereo Digital Audio data path, with sample rate conversion in and out.
GPI inputs and outputs to D9 connector.

The case may be specified with either:
One Analogue Mic amplifier, with input on XLR, with adjustable gain and Phantom power.
Digital compressor limiter with learning mode like the ALT mic amplifer.
Or, up to two Audio input modules.
Stereo Analogue balanced input on 5 pin XLR, or AES-3 with local sample rate conversion.
